Volunteering is at an all-time high in the U.S., according to a November 2018 report by the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS). In 2017, 30.3% of adults volunteered through an organization, up 6% from the previous year. Volunteering creates enormous value in local communities and nationwide.
